Job Description
Interventional Radiology Technologist - Interventional Radiology

Schedule:
Shift: 7:30 AM - 6:00 PM, Monday-Friday with a rotating day off
Call: One primary weekday and one backup weekday per month; one weekend every 6 weeks (alternating primary/backup)

Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years interventional radiology experience
- Required: ARRT (R), BLS, ACLS
- Proficient with Siemens imaging systems
- Experience performing common IR procedures such as angiography/angioplasty, embolization, stent/IVC filter placement, central venous access/port placement, biopsies, nephrostomy/uro interventions, dialysis graft interventions, thoracentesis/paracentesis, TIPS
- Preferred: Experience with Epic electronic medical records

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Prepare and position patients for interventional radiology procedures
- Operate imaging equipment to produce and capture images
- Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout procedures
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team for optimal patient care
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of procedures and patient responses

Compliance / Notes:
- Flu vaccine required (medical exemptions only)
- Reference requirement: 2 professional references (at least 1 manager/director or formal supervisor)
- RTO required with submission
- Candidates outside the immediate area may need to travel for fingerprinting or complete a mailed packet urgently
