Security Engineer - Exposure Management

Salary: $80,000 - 104,000 per year Requirements:

• We require a bachelors degree in Information Technology, Telecommunications, Engineering, or equivalent work experience.
• We look for at least 7 years of experience in information security or a related technical discipline.
• We need experience across on-premises, cloud, and hybrid platforms, as well as infrastructure, systems management, and security technologies.
• We expect the ability to design systems that support vulnerability, configuration, posture management, penetration testing, and security assessments.
• We require skill in analyzing system requirements, security risks, feasibility, costs, benefits, and functional needs.
• We value experience troubleshooting complex security issues and performing root cause analysis with industry-standard tools.
• We expect knowledge of cloud security standards, guardrails, and configuration baselines across cloud and hybrid environments.
• We need experience supporting KPIs, dashboards, and reporting for risk exposure, remediation, compliance, and security posture.
• We look for familiarity with automation and tool integrations that improve security visibility, remediation, and reporting.
• We require experience supporting vulnerability prioritization, remediation validation, penetration testing, and security assessment activities.
• We expect the ability to work with application, infrastructure, cloud, and risk teams to address security findings.
• We value experience evaluating security tools and technologies for functionality, compatibility, scalability, and operational value.
• We expect the ability to document technical processes, share knowledge, and contribute to team standards and continuous improvement.
• We require the ability to collaborate and communicate clearly with stakeholders across the firm.
• We note that associates within commuting distance of our Tempe, AZ and St. Louis, MO home offices are expected to work in the office on a hybrid schedule.

• We maintain a strong understanding of our environment to support broad exposure identification.
• We use vulnerability, configuration, and posture scanning tools, penetration tests, and third-party assessments to identify possible exposure points across our enterprise environment.
• We perform routine analysis and scanning of exposure findings.
• We identify, triage, analyze, and manage vulnerabilities across our enterprise environment.
• We support core vulnerability management, configuration management, posture management, penetration testing, security assessments, and reporting functions.
• We contribute to the creation and upkeep of process documentation and look for ways to improve our procedures.
• We collaborate with stakeholders across the firm to address and communicate security-related findings.
