School Psychologist | Milford, Delaware

Job Description

Make a real difference in the lives of young students by supporting their emotional, behavioral, and academic development in a dynamic educational environment. This full-time contract opportunity for a School Psychologist begins in August and continues through June, working with PreK students.

Key Qualifications:

Valid certification or license as a School Psychologist
Experience conducting psychological and academic assessments in school settings
Strong understanding of early childhood development and interventions
Ability to collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
Excellent communication and documentation skills

Role Responsibilities:

Provide comprehensive psychological services to PreK students, including assessment, counseling, and intervention
Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to develop and implement student support plans
Lead or participate in IEP meetings, ensuring appropriate educational recommendations
Support the Response to Intervention (RTI) process by monitoring student progress and offering expertise on prevention, intervention, and crisis management
Help create positive learning environments and foster students’ social-emotional growth
Maintain accurate and timely records in compliance with special education regulations
