Now Hiring: Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) – Full-Time
We are seeking a compassionate and licensed Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our rehab team at Dahlia Gardens Center for Nursing & Rehabilitation. As a full-time COTA, you will work closely under the direction of an Occupational Therapist to help implement care plans, guide residents through therapeutic activities, and promote recovery and mobility in a supportive long-term care setting.
As a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant, your primary responsibilities will include:
• Assisting residents with activities that support daily living and independence
• Accurately documenting therapy sessions and tracking patient progress
• Educating residents, families, and staff on at-home and restorative programs
• Participating in interdisciplinary team meetings and quality improvement programs
• Floating to nearby facilities if needed based on patient needs
Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
• Current state license/registration as a COTA
• Experience in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting is a plus
• Supportive and collaborative therapy department
