Critical Care Registered Nurse (RN)

Schedule

This position is scheduled for 48 hours per week, with shifts from 7A to 7:30P.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Critical Care Registered Nurse (RN) to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in critical care, particularly within level I trauma centers, and experience floating to various ICUs. This role requires competence in managing ICU patients across multiple specialties, including neuro/trauma SICU, MICU, CPS/VICU, CCU, and progressive critical care units (PCCU).

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to critically ill patients in various ICU settings.
• Float to multiple units as required to ensure optimal patient care and staffing levels.
• Utilize advanced critical care techniques to monitor and assess patient conditions.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to create and implement patient care plans.
• Assist in the emergency department and PACU for patients awaiting bed placement.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active RN license with prior experience in critical care, preferably in a level I trauma center.
• Previous travel nursing experience is mandatory.
• Ability to pass competency tests required within 24 hours of submission.
• Must provide navy blue scrubs as per the dress code.
