Histotechnician I Full‑Time position at Memorial Hospital Belleville (MHB). Position Details Day Shift Hours: (Mon‑Fri) 5:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Limited Weekend Rotation No Holidays Sign‑On Bonus Eligible applicants may receive a sign‑on bonus. Experience Non‑Reg with at least 2‑3 years of histology (embedding/microtomy) experience will be considered. Embedding, microtomy, and IHC experience (preferred). Certified by ASCP (ASCP histotechnology) is a plus. Requirements High School Diploma or GED. 2‑3 years of histotechnician experience preferred. Responsibilities Perform and document quality controls for all equipment; troubleshoot malfunctioning instrumentation. Understand maintenance, troubleshooting, and operation of all instrumentation in assigned areas; has minimal understanding of test principles. Minimum Requirements Education: High School Diploma or GED. Experience: 2‑5 years (preferred). Prefer Associate’s Degree.
