Swim Instructor - Silver Lake

The Swim Instructor has responsibility for teaching swimming skills, water safety skills/methods (and can teach water aerobics) to students/participants of various levels. The major responsibility of this position is to ensure the safety of all participants. The Swim Instructor will assure that all class/program participants are sufficiently skilled to participate in the level of class being offered and can provide evaluations to participants. Work is reviewed in terms of safety, teaching skills, enthusiasm, people interaction skills, and class participation by membership. Qualifications: Minimum 16 years of age. Two years experience water safety instruction. Excellent physical condition with good vision. CPR certified Preferred American Red Cross Advance Lifesaving and Water Safety Instructor certified.
