Body Shop Technician

We are growing! Miles Chevrolet is seeking a skilled Body Shop Technician to join our team in Decatur, IL. In this role, you will be responsible for repairing and restoring vehicle bodies to their original condition, ensuring high-quality workmanship and customer satisfaction. You will work closely with the service and parts departments to deliver excellent service in a timely manner. Responsibilities Perform collision repairs including dent removal, frame straightening, welding, and refinishing. Inspect vehicles to assess damage and determine repair procedures. Follow all safety guidelines and maintain a clean and organized work area. Communicate effectively with team members and customers regarding repair status. Use tools and equipment properly to achieve precise body work and finishes. Requirements Proven experience as a Body Shop Technician or similar role. Strong knowledge of body repair techniques and materials. Ability to operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently. Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
