IT CoordinatorThe full-time IT Support Coordinator is responsible for facilitating technology support and implementation for The Peer Company. Key responsibilities include troubleshooting and maintaining the organization's workplace technology, providing technical support to The Peer Company Staff. The IT Support Coordinator also assists the IT Manager in employee onboarding/offboarding as well as network and user directory facilitation.QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent required. Associate's degree in Information Technology or similar field preferred.A criminal background check will be conducted by TPC in accordance with the TPC background check policy. A criminal record does not necessarily exclude an individual from employment with TPC.Pre-hire drug screens will be conducted in accordance with TPC's drug screening policy and applicable state and federal laws.For positions that require driving, The Peer Company conducts a Motor Vehicle Records (MVR) search in accordance with company policy, insurance requirements, and applicable state and federal laws.No major driving violations within the past 3 years (i.e. - DUI, careless driving, leaving the scene of an accident, etc.)No more than 3 moving violations within the past 3 years (i.e. - speeding, failing to yield, running red light, etc.)Associate's degree with 1-3 years of technical experience OR high school diploma (or equivalent) and 3-5 years of technical experienceExperience with substance use and/or mental health recovery is desirable and highly valuedUnderstands the principles of trauma-informed care, recovery, and consumer-involvementHigh proficiency with PC systems, tools and applications including assembly, troubleshooting, installation, and oversight of Microsoft 365 applications requiredExperience in supporting cloud technology infrastructure environment (Microsoft 365, Google Workplace)Experience in collaborating with community partners to identify shortcomings in the organization and in building partnerships to improve outcomesValid Oregon Driver's License and proof of automobile insurance required. Access to reliable personal vehicle requiredSkillsExcellent communication, trauma informed approach and conflict resolution skillsAbility to always maintain high professional standards with staff and community partners while demonstrating exemplary customer support skills and responseDemonstrated commitment to providing impeccable customer serviceCapacity to juggle multiple tasks and priorities; proactive problem solverAbility to network and collaborate with diverse groups of people who have varied technical abilityExperience with advanced audio/video conferencing preferredDemonstrated knowledge of standard software (e.g., word processing, graphics packages, spreadsheets/databases)Ability to push/pull/lift/carry items up to 25 pounds and occasionally push/pull/lift/carry up to 50 pounds.Essential FunctionsInstalls hardware and peripheral components such as phones, monitors, keyboards, printers and disk drives for workstations in the officeLoads appropriate software packages such as operating systems, networking components and office applicationsProvides telephone, in-person and online support to end-users in a timely fashion through helpdesk applicationConnects users to networks and provides initial training in facilities and applicationsProvides updates, status and completion information to manager and/or users for help requests and projectsSets up new hires with necessary equipment and creates user profiles in all applicable IT systemsAssists IT Manager in developing and implementing IT policies and procedures based on industry best practicesProvides technology support to Peerpocalypse annual conferenceAbides by organization policies and procedures, confidentiality laws, professional boundaries and relevant federal/state treatment regulations and standardsFacilitate, document, and audit organization-wide mobile servicesOccasional travel for work meetings and projects as neededAssists with other administrative projects and relevant duties as assignedThe above essential functions represent work performed by this position and are not all inclusive.
