Registered Nurse (RN) OPWDD Part Time

Job Summary

QSAC is looking for dedicated Registered Nurses (RN) to support our Residential and Day Habilitation programs providing services to people with autism in Manhattan Queens and Long Island. Current NY State RN license is required and OPWDD knowledge and experience is highly preferred.

Part Time salary range for this position is $50.00 an hour.

QSAC has flexible schedules for part-time (PT)

Responsibilities

Health & Administration

• Oversee general health issues for people with autism in Residential programs or day programs
• Monitor medication and medical records for people receiving services
• Consult with MDs to ensure optimal medical treatments are provided to people being supported
• Supervise direct support professional (DSP) staff administration of medication to people receiving services
• Ensures medical follow up (i.e. appt.s labs obtain prescribed medication etc.) occurs in a timely manner
• Ensures individuals are receiving prescribed medications
• Maintains medical records
• Attends internal team meetings as scheduled

Qualifications & Work Experience

• 1-2 years RN experience highly preferred
• Valid NYS RN license in good standing required
