Production Supervisor - Weekend Shift

Job Overview The Production Supervisor provides leadership and direction for the production department, ensuring operational excellence through safety, quality, and productivity. They are accountable for building high-performing teams by hiring, developing, and motivating employees while driving continuous improvement initiatives. Work Schedule: Friday - Sunday 6:00am - 6:00pm Highlights of your role Hire, train, and develop team members to build a strong talent pipeline. Mentor Assistant Supervisors and prepare them for roles of increased responsibility. Conduct performance evaluations, provide feedback, and administer corrective actions fairly and consistently. Foster a positive, inclusive culture that promotes engagement and reduces turnover. Address employee concerns promptly andmaintainopen communication. Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements. Monitor daily operations to achieve production, quality, and safety goals. Oversee cross-training and line balancing tooptimizeworkforce flexibility. Maintainaccuratedocumentation and reporting for department activities. Lead problem-solving efforts forescalatedissues and remove barriers to success. Drive strategic planning and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency. Investigate quality concerns,identifyroot causes, and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence. Collaborate across departments to align resources and achieve companyobjectives. Promote a culture of safety and integrity by consistently following all safety protocols, reporting hazards, and engaging in training and initiatives. You're a good fit if you have (or if you can) 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment. 1–2 years in a leadership or supervisory role. Experience with continuous improvement initiatives and root cause analysis. Proventrack recordof meeting production, quality, and safety goals. Exposure tocross-functional collaboration and employee development. Ability to effectively use Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
