The Assistant Manager will oversee a small team of 1-5 staff, providing support in daily operations and ensuring exceptional customer service. This role involves moderate decision-making authority, requiring proficiency with Point of Sale (POS) systems and a focus on sales support, inventory control, and quality assurance. The position offers growth opportunities into managerial roles or lateral moves within Operations.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and mentor a team of 1-5 staff
- Deliver excellent customer service and resolve conflicts effectively
- Control inventory and manage stock levels accurately
- Prepare and maintain operational and sales reports
- Support sales initiatives to meet business goals
- Assist with daily operational activities ensuring smooth workflow
- Ensure quality control standards are consistently met
Preferred Qualifications
- 2+ years of management experience
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
- Effective time management skills
- Knowledge of sales strategies and customer relationship management
- Proficiency in conflict resolution
