What we’re looking for:

• Experience as a Special Education Teacher or ARD Facilitator within a school setting
• Thorough knowledge of the ARD/IEP process, special education law, and instructional best practices
• Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to collect, review, and interpret educational and assessment data
• Strong team collaboration and conflict resolution abilities
• Relevant teaching certification
• Commitment to upholding ethical and confidentiality standards

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading and coordinating ARD meetings, ensuring compliance with district and state regulations
• Facilitating open communication among team members, parents, and students
• Assisting in the development, review, and monitoring of individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Documenting meeting proceedings and ensuring accurate, timely records
• Providing expert guidance for program modifications and student placement decisions
• Supporting staff with understanding and implementing IEPs for student success
