Souderton, United States | Posted on 09/08/2026 Hourly Rate based on experience and will be discussed during initial phone screen 1st Shift Responsibilities: This position mountsprinting plates, prepares sleeves and plate cylinders, proofs completed work,and stages anilox rollers and cylinders so press teams have the correctequipment when they need it. The Plate Mounter also maintainsplate-room equipment, materials, and storage systems. This role is ideal for acareful, organized team member who is comfortable working with specializedequipment and understands how accurate preparation supports print quality andproduction efficiency. Mount printing plates accurately on platecylinders and sleeves. Set up, operate, and perform generalmaintenance on the DuPont plate mounter. Sleeve and de-sleeve plate cylindersaccording to press and mounting schedules. Apply stickyback mounting tape to sleevesand plate cylinders. Proof mounted plate cylinders, inspectcompleted proofs, and approve work before release. Clean, wrap, store, and protect printingplates after use. Maintain organized storage and accuratelocations for plates, plate cylinders, gears, anilox rollers, and sleeves. Maintain inventory and storage ofstickyback and proofing supplies. Clean, set up, and stage anilox rollersand cylinders for upcoming jobs. Maintain cylinders, carts, splash guards,and associated parts in good working condition. Keep equipment and the plate-mountingarea clean, orderly, and production ready. Operate the electric hoist and use handtools safely. Follow all plant safety rules and reportsafety concerns, accidents, and emergency maintenance needs to the appropriatecoordinator or technical developer. Perform other related duties as assigned. Requirements Ability to safely operate an electrichoist and DuPont plate mounter. Ability to use assorted hand tools. Basic computer skills. Strong attention to detail and commitmentto print quality. Ability to organize and maintainspecialized production materials and supplies. Dependable approach to safety, equipmentcare, and production schedules. Ability to work effectively with pressteams and other production partners. Repetitive walking, bending, and stoopingthroughout the shift. Ability to push and pull cylinder carts.
