Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Your expertise will play a vital role in designing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs), adapting curriculum materials, and facilitating a positive, inclusive classroom environment. This position offers consistent weekly hours—working 37.5 hours onsite each week at an elementary level.

Desired Qualifications:

• Valid LBS1 and PEL certifications (required)
• Experience working with elementary-level students in self-contained or special education settings
• Thorough knowledge of evidence-based instructional strategies for students with diverse learning needs
• Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with parents, colleagues, and support personnel
• A compassionate, patient, and resourceful approach to teaching and behavior management

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs for each student
• Adapt lessons and materials to meet individual abilities and program goals
• Foster a supportive environment conducive to skill acquisition and personal growth
• Collaborate closely with therapists, administrators, and other team members
• Track and report student progress, maintaining organized and up-to-date records
