As a CT Scan Technologist, you will be responsible for performing routine radiographic examinations. Your role will be pivotal in contributing to the diagnostic process, ensuring high-quality imaging and patient care. Willing to train the right candidate for CT. * Key Responsibilities:

As a CT Scan Technologist, you will be responsible for performing routine radiographic examinations. Your role will be pivotal in contributing to the diagnostic process, ensuring high-quality imaging and patient care. Willing to train the right candidate for CT. * Key Responsibilities:
- Perform CT scans and other specialized imaging procedures as prescribed by physicians and protocols.
- Ensure patient comfort and safety throughout the imaging process, providing clear instructions and addressing any concerns.
- Position patients correctly and utilize appropriate radiation protection measures to minimize exposure.
- Operate and maintain CT equipment, ensuring functionality and adherence to safety standards.
- Evaluate CT images for quality, clarity, and accuracy, documenting findings and ensuring timely reporting.
- Collaborate effectively with radiologists and healthcare team members to review images and assist in patient diagnosis.
- Maintain accurate patient records and uphold confidentiality of sensitive information.
- Adhere to regulatory standards, quality assurance protocols, and departmental policies.
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- ARRT (R) board certification OR eligibility to sit for ARRT (CT) or board certification required.
- Previous direct clinical radiology experience in a hospital environment is preferred.
- ARRT (CT) registered within 2 years of employment required.
- Valid Vermont State Office of Professional Regulation Radiography license required.
- BLS Certification required within 90 days of hire.
