Computed Tomography Technologist - Travel Job

Job Description

Become a vital part of a hospital team in Libertyville, IL as an experienced Computed Tomography Technologist. You will accurately follow physician scanning instructions, administer contrast materials when indicated, and operate CT equipment for inpatient and outpatient vascular and general CT patients. You will work in a Level 1 trauma center with a primary stroke center and a Level II NICU, supporting high-acuity care and a varied patient population.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years CT technologist experience.
• ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification required.
• Completion of an accredited radiologic technology program (JRCERT or equivalent).
• Current BLS certification.
• ACR and IEMA certifications required.
• Experience with general CT and vascular procedures.
• EPIC electronic health record experience required.
• Experience with GE CT equipment preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in a trauma center, stroke center, or teaching hospital preferred.
• Prior travel assignment experience preferred but first-time travelers will be considered upon review.

Assignment Details

• Shift hours: 13:00–00:00.
• Schedule: 4x10.
• Weekend rotation: alternating weekends required.
• On call: 2–3 call shifts required per month (maximum).
• Orientation: at least one shift to learn unit flow.
• Patient volume: approximately 50 patients per shift with 1:1 patient ratios for certain studies.
• Scrub color: Caribbean Blue.
