• Pay Rate: $70.00–$76.00 / Hour (USD)
• Shift / Schedule: Night shift, 3×12 hours, 18:45–07:15; every other weekend and holiday
• Work Authorization: Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time.

Job Summary

This is a Labor and Delivery travel/contract nursing position based in Worcester, MA. The nurse will be assigned to a maternity float pool and will be required to work both Labor & Delivery (L&D) and Postpartum (PP) units. Local candidates are accepted at the same bill rate.

Key Responsibilities

• Work within the maternity float pool as assigned
• Provide nursing care in both Labor & Delivery and Postpartum settings
• Complete all required orientation exams, including a medication exam and a telemetry exam (each exam allows one attempt; failure results in immediate contract cancellation)

Education Requirements

• MA RN License required (pending MA license is acceptable — upon offer, traveler must apply for the MA conditional/temporary license within 48 hours of signing)
• AWHONN certification: Intermediate level or above required
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) required
• BLS (Basic Life Support) required
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) required

Required Experience

• 3 years of experience strongly preferred; 1–2 years of experience with travel nursing experience will be considered
• Experience with Epic electronic health records required

• Ability to work every other weekend and holiday

Work Environment / Physical Requirements

• Night shift schedule: 3×12-hour shifts, 18:45–07:15
• Every other weekend and holiday rotation required
• Float assignment between Labor & Delivery and Postpartum units
• Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions and declinations allowed)
• COVID-19 vaccine: not required

Important Notes

• Pending MA License: Submittals are accepted without a temporary or permanent MA license. Upon being offered a position, the traveler must apply for the MA conditional (temporary) license within 48 hours of signing.
• Orientation Exams: Travelers must be aware of and acknowledge two pass/fail exams at orientation — a medication exam and a telemetry exam. Each exam allows only one attempt. If either exam is not passed, the contract is cancelled immediately. Study materials will be provided during the compliance process and facility-directed inservices (FDIs).
