Job Description We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Remote Medical Transcriber to join our team on a part-time, remote basis. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in medical transcription and be able to accurately transcribe medical reports and records. Responsibilities Listen to audio recordings of medical reports and transcribe them accurately Edit and proofread transcribed documents for accuracy and completeness Ensure all medical terminology and abbreviations are correctly transcribed Maintain confidentiality and security of all patient information Communicate with healthcare professionals to clarify any unclear or missing information Meet strict deadlines for completing transcriptions Keep up to date with changes in medical terminology and procedures Collaborate with team members to ensure consistent and high-quality transcriptions Qualifications Previous experience in medical transcription Excellent typing and listening skills Strong knowledge of medical terminology, abbreviations, and procedures Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines Proficient in using transcription software and equipmentHigh attention to detail and accuracy Excellent communication skills Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent Contract Details This is a part-time, remote position. The selected candidate will be required to work a minimum of 20 hours per week.
