Radiology - X-ray Tech

Radiologic TechnologistPerforms and processes radiographic and fluoroscopic radiology tests. Has working knowledge of all equipment used for radiological tests. Obtains images using appropriate equipment and knows how to transfer images to PACS. Documents tests and procedures via computer. Assists with office functions and clinical functions as needed. Helps with anesthesia, materials management, and performs pregnancy tests and EKGs. Assists with case cart checks and room turnovers. Maintains inventory of radiology supplies and oversees routine equipment maintenance. Checks the OR schedule daily and works with supervisors to provide coverage as needed. Possesses knowledge of aseptic techniques during testing. Maintains confidentiality of all records and information received in the course of work activities.
