Per Diem Pharmacist | Chesapeake, Virginia

This opportunity is seeking a skilled Pharmacist to provide professional pharmaceutical services on a per diem basis. The position requires working independently on select dates and contributing to the efficient operation of the pharmacy. The role demands precision, strong decision-making skills, and thorough knowledge of retail pharmacy processes.


Scheduled shifts include:

• Thursday, 6/4/2026 from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
• Friday, 6/5/2026 from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
• Thursday, 6/18/2026 from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
• Friday, 6/19/2026 from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM

Responsibilities:

• Manage daily pharmacy operations independently during assigned shifts
• Accurately dispense medications and counsel patients on prescribed treatments
• Utilize PioneerRx pharmacy software to document and process prescriptions effectively
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and maintain a safe environment
• Collaborate with healthcare providers as needed to optimize patient care

Qualifications:

• Active and clear Virginia pharmacist license
• Minimum of one year recent retail pharmacy experience
• Proficient in PioneerRx pharmacy software or ability to quickly learn the system
• Strong organizational skills and ability to work autonomously with attention to detail
