LVN / LPN Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical Surgical

We are seeking a skilled LVN / LPN for a medical surgical nursing position. The candidate must have a firm requirement for LPN IV Certification. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of recent experience in this specialty. Team nursing is practiced with a ratio of 1:7. Support is available from RN and PCC. Candidates must be willing to work night shifts. On-call and weekend shifts are required as needed. Local candidates within a 100-mile radius will not be accepted. All travelers must meet compliance with NLC guidelines. All requested time off must be included at the time of submission. Please note that if hired, holiday availability is required, especially during the end-of-year holidays. Travel experience is mandatory, along with recent experience in a large hospital setting. Each submission will be thoroughly vetted to ensure that candidates meet all requirements. Successful candidates will provide care for adult and geriatric patients in various medical conditions. Patients will receive support from interdisciplinary teams including physical therapy and respiratory services. This role demands proficiency in starting and managing IVs as well as telemetry. Candidates should have the ability to interpret and manage dysrhythmias. The nursing team will be expected to adhere to strict compliance and performance standards. Effective communication and collaboration within a healthcare team are essential for success in this role.
