Locums | Gastroenterology | Spokane, WA (IMLC accepted) Why This Role

• No call — weekday coverage only, 8a-5p, no nights or weekends
• Flexible commitment: full-time or 2-on/2-off split between two providers
• Potential locums-to-perm opportunity for the right fit
• ERCP and EUS NOT required — broader fit than typical inpatient GI roles
• Optional outpatient procedures available if provider wants them
Assignment Details
• Start: August 3, 2026, ongoing
• Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8a-5p, no nights or weekends, no call
• Commitment: full-time (14 shifts/month minimum) or 2-on/2-off split if 2 providers can be coordinated
• Volume: ~5 patients/day
• Setting: Inpatient GI hospitalist role (outpatient procedures optional if provider is interested)
• Support: 2 APPs, RN, MAs, office staff
• EMR: Epic
• Credentialing: ~90 days
Clinical Details
• General inpatient GI: upper and lower endoscopy, EGD with biopsy/foreign body removal/cautery, sigmoidoscopy (flexible/rigid), colonoscopy with biopsy/polyp excision, small bowel biopsy, esophageal dilatation and manometry (with interpretation), diagnostic ERCP
• Not required: therapeutic ERCP, EUS, PEG, liver biopsy
Requirements
• Board Certified in Gastroenterology
• GI Fellowship required
• Active WA license or IMLC
• Active DEA
• ACLS, BLS
Compensation
• Rate caps apply per facility
• Malpractice provided
• Travel and lodging reimbursed
