We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Production Training Specialist to support employee development and operational excellence within our production environment. This role is responsible for training new employees, maintaining and updating training materials, developing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), driving process improvement initiatives, and supporting production leadership teams. The ideal candidate is an effective communicator, organized, flexible, and passionate about helping employees succeed.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Conduct onboarding and training for new production employees.
• Assess employee training needs and provide ongoing coaching and development.
• Monitor employee progress and ensure training objectives are met.
• Collaborate with HR during onboarding activities and new hire orientation.
• Create, write, and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Update training documents, work instructions, and reference materials to ensure accuracy.
• Ensure all training materials align with company standards, quality requirements, and operational processes.
• Identify opportunities to improve training effectiveness and production processes.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to increase efficiency, quality, and safety.
• Recommend and implement improvements to training programs and workflows.
• Provide training support to Leads and Supervisors.
• Work closely with production leadership to address training gaps and performance concerns.
• Assist in communicating process changes and operational updates to team members.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or training-related certifications preferred.
• Experience in manufacturing, production, training, or a related field preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to create and update technical documentation and SOPs.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with all levels of the organization.

Benefits

• Health care insurance benefits available first of the month following 60 days of employment. Thirty (30) hours worked per week must be averaged in order to maintain coverage. 401k enrollment is available per the Secure Act guidelines.
