MUSC Health – Lancaster Medical Center is seeking a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist to join a high-performing Anesthesia Care Team model in Lancaster, SC. This role offers the opportunity to work alongside experienced CRNAs and board-certified Anesthesiologists within a collaborative Anesthesia Care Team, delivering high-quality care across a diverse case mix at two well-supported campuses in Lancaster and Chester. Required Qualifications: Experience administering vascular, minimal pediatric, neuro, regional, and orthopedic anesthesia, as well as anesthesia for outpatient surgery. Graduate of a program approved by the Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Educational Programs The minimum education requirement for those hired after March 1, 2019, is a master’s degree, or higher, with the concentration in Nurse Anesthesia. Insurable by the medical malpractice insurer of MUSC for the required limits. Must be recognized as an APRN to be eligible, with current license to practice, or eligibility to obtain practice in the state of South Carolina. Current Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) require either a certification from an American Health Association (AHA) for Healthcare Providers or an American Red Cross CPR/AED for Professional Rescuers and Healthcare Provider. Position Highlights: Anesthesia Care Team/Medical Supervision Model for Lancaster CRNA Only Model for Chester Cases: Urology, General Surgery, Orthopedics, Kidney Transplants, OB with a separate dedicated night team (optional). 8, 10, & 12-hour shifts with separate dedicated night and weekend call staff.
