It is important that a friendly, caring, courteous, and professional attitude is always displayed as this person has front-line contact with patients and families.**Duties and responsibilities**Obtain patient health history and perform physical examination for consultation visits and follow up visitsAssess patient needs and establish with supervising physician the plan for care. Order appropriate imaging and laboratory tests as indicatedReview results and consult with supervising physician as appropriate and delegated by the supervising physicianPrescribe and dispense medication in accordance with state and federal regulations.
