Job Description

The Inventory Control Specialist supports the repair line by maintaining accurate inventory flow and ensuring technicians have the parts needed to complete repairs efficiently. This role is responsible for receiving, organizing, transferring, and tracking repair components while maintaining accurate inventory records within the warehouse management system.

 

Key Responsibilities

* Receive parts and properly inventory and store them in designated locations.
* Organize and put away newly received parts to maintain accurate inventory locations.
* Pull repair units from queues once all required parts are available.
* Retrieve and deliver parts requested by repair technicians to support daily repair activities.
* Perform **bin transfers** to maintain accurate part locations within the inventory system.
* Process **inventory adjustments** for scrapped parts and parts identified under incorrect part numbers.
* Update and edit **work orders (WOs)** when corrections or adjustments are required.
* Return and properly store unused parts from daily repairs back into inventory.
* Maintain organized storage areas to ensure efficient part retrieval and accurate inventory counts.
* Assist with inventory audits and cycle counts when required.

Qualifications

* Previous experience in inventory control, warehouse operations, or repair/manufacturing environments preferred.
* Experience with ERP/WMS systems (NetSuite or similar systems is a plus).
* Strong organizational and attention-to-detail skills.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
* Basic computer and data entry skills.
* Ability to lift and move parts or equipment as required.
