Job Title: Shipping & Packaging Assembler
Location: Bloomington, MN
Compensation: $18.50-$20.50 per hour - paid weekly
Job Type: Temp-to-hire | Full-time About the Opportunity

Doherty Staffing Solutions is hiring Shipping & Packaging Assemblers for a leading engineering company in Bloomington, MN. In this role, you'll help assemble and package high-quality products while supporting a clean and safe work environment. If you enjoy hands-on work and want reliable hours with weekly pay, this job could be a great fit. Read below for more information! What You'll Do as a Shipping & Packaging Assembler:

• Perform assembly functions using hand or power tools and inspect assembled products
• Read and follow work instructions to cut, debur, flare, and bend stainless steel
• Place finished goods on designated pallets
• Notify the supervisor of any mechanical or material issues
• Maintain a clean and safe work area
• Operate equipment safely, including Lift Trucks or Hand Trucks
• Periodically fill bottles with fluorescent dye

What You Need to Bring to the Shipping & Packaging Assembler Role:

• Basic math skills and ability to take accurate measurements
• Proficiency in soldering techniques
• Working knowledge of fixtures and solder setup parameters
• Understanding of quality standards and reporting
• Computer skills for clocking in/out and tracking work orders
• Ability to use PPE properly
• Ability to stand or sit for extended periods and tolerate repetitive motions
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds frequently and up to 60 pounds with team assistance
• Close and peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to see colors for inspection
