Program/Project Manager

We are seeking an accomplished Program/Project Manager specializing in Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) with a proven track record in successfully managing projects using Agile methodologies, particularly Scrum and SAFe. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in guiding M&A initiatives, excellent communication skills, and a talent for stakeholder management. This role demands a strategic thinker who can navigate the complexities of M&A projects while fostering collaboration and transparency within Agile frameworks. Required Skills Lead end‑to‑end project management for M&A initiatives, including due diligence, integration planning, and execution. Ensure alignment of M&A projects with organizational goals and strategic objectives. Navigate complexities associated with M&A transactions and provide strategic guidance. Apply Agile principles, with a focus on Scrum and SAFe, to enhance project flexibility, transparency, and delivery speed. Facilitate Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand‑ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives. Ensure adherence to processes, quality standards and deliverables so that projects are delivered with machine‑like predictability. Implement SAFe practices for large‑scale projects, fostering collaboration and alignment across teams. Conduct comprehensive risk assessments for M&A projects, identifying potential risks and developing mitigation plans. Expertise in developing detailed program/project execution plans and managing all implementation processes, including budget management, resource allocation, progress tracking, monitoring change‑control processes, testing, documentation, training, and on‑time delivery within budget constraints, while establishing yourself as a go‑to leader within IT. Required Experience Proven experience as a Program/Project Manager with a focus on M&A projects. Extensive experience in implementing Agile methodologies, particularly Scrum and SAFe. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a track record of successful stakeholder management. Demonstrated ability to navigate complex M&A transactions and provide strategic guidance. Minimum 6+ years of recent project/program management experience. At least 4 years of that experience dedicated to running large IT projects. Proven experience in managing multiple projects concurrently in an enterprise environment. Certifications Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field. Master’s degree is a plus. Project management certification (PMP or equivalent) is preferred.
