Dietary Aide
Glen Haven Health & Rehabilitation is seeking a dependable and caring Dietary Aide to join our dietary team.
As a Dietary Aide, you'll help prepare and serve meals while ensuring our residents have a positive and enjoyable dining experience.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve resident meals according to menus and dietary guidelines.
- Assist with meal trays, beverages, snacks, and dining room service.
- Follow resident diet orders, portion guidelines, and food safety procedures.
- Clean and sanitize dishes, equipment, work areas, and dining spaces.
- Stock supplies and assist with general kitchen duties.
- Work closely with dietary and nursing staff to meet resident needs.
Qualifications
- Previous dietary, food service, restaurant, or healthcare experience preferred but not required.
- Ability to follow food safety and sanitation guidelines.
- Dependable with strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Compassionate and committed to providing excellent service to residents.
