Key Responsibilities

• Define and implement the long-term search platform roadmap aligned with business objectives
• Mentor and guide search engineers while enforcing engineering best practices across the team
• Introduce NLP, vector search, and personalization techniques to improve search relevance and user experience
• Establish measurable KPIs including CTR, Query Distribution, and Zero Search rates to track performance
• Use analytics to monitor and continuously improve search performance across all platforms
• Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure technical solutions align with broader business goals

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
• 10+ years in software engineering, including 8+ years in search engineering
• 4+ years in technical leadership with experience mentoring and guiding engineering teams
• Strong product experience with Coveo or Vertex AI Search (Commerce)
• Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and building low-latency APIs
• Advanced GitHub/version control proficiency with demonstrated best practices
• Familiarity with A/B testing, Agile methodologies, and working with global teams
• Strong initiative, interpersonal skills, and cross-functional communication abilities
