Overview
Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant – LTCA traveling assignment in Helena, MT. This day-shift position is set for 13 weeks starting 09/14/2026 with a weekly pay range of $1,333 to $1,389 and 36 hours guaranteed per week. The role supports residents in a long-term care (LTC - Nursing Home) setting under supervision by an OT. This temporary travel assignment is with Healthforce Healthcare LLC.

Responsibilities
- Provide Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant services under the supervising OT in a long-term care setting.
- Assist with patient assessments, participate in treatment planning, and implement therapy sessions to support rehabilitation goals.
- Facilitate therapeutic activities focused on activities of daily living, mobility, transfers, gait, balance, and strengthening as appropriate.
- Document patient progress, session data, and goals in the chart and communicate changes to the interdisciplinary team.
- Ensure patient safety during therapy, monitor responses to treatment, maintain clean equipment and therapy supplies, and follow infection control practices.
- Collaborate with nursing staff and therapists to adapt plans and support resident well-being and independence.

Requirements
- Active Montana license as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) or eligible for licensure
- COTA certification required; LTCA specialty preferred or eligible as applicable
- Education: Associate degree in Occupational Therapy Assistant from an accredited program
- Experience in or exposure to long-term care/ skilled nursing settings preferred
- Ability to work in a day shift environment; strong communication and documentation skills
- Ability to collaborate with an interdisciplinary team and follow OT supervision
