Assembly OperatorWe're looking for an Assembly Operator to join our aerospace manufacturing team. In this role, you'll assemble, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair aircraft engine components and assemblies while following detailed work instructions and airworthiness requirements. This is a hands-on position for someone who enjoys working with tools, following technical drawings, and producing quality work in a regulated aerospace environment.At Chromalloy, your work directly supports aviation safety and reliability. What you do here has real-world impact—every day.Shift: 1st shift, Monday-Friday 6:45a-3:30pWhat You'll Be DoingAssemble and disassemble engine modules, components, and sub-assembliesRead and interpret drawings, technical data, and work instructionsInspect parts and assemblies using precision measuring toolsRemove and replace defective components based on repair criteriaPerform troubleshooting, testing, and functional checksUse flushing, pressure testing, and borescope equipment as requiredPerform structural sheet metal repairs when neededInstall assemblies while maintaining required tolerances and specificationsVerify completed work meets quality and airworthiness requirementsPlan and prioritize work to meet production schedulesComplete required documentation accuratelyMaintain a clean, safe, and organized work areaFollow all company, customer, and regulatory requirementsSupport continuous improvement efforts and help the team succeedWhat We're Looking ForAbility to read, write, and communicate effectively in EnglishAbility to read and understand technical drawings, procedures, and repair instructionsExperience using precision measuring tools and inspection equipmentBasic shop math skillsMechanical aptitude and strong attention to detailAbility to troubleshoot and solve problems in a manufacturing environmentUnderstanding of aviation terminology and technical publications is a plusAbility to work independently and as part of a teamStrong commitment to safety, quality, and productivityNice to HaveAerospace manufacturing, assembly, or repair experienceExperience with engine components or aircraft partsFamiliarity with airworthiness standards and regulated environmentsExperience operating industrial trucks or electric hoistsThis position may require work hours outside of the regularly scheduled hours to meet operational needs. This may include work during evenings, weekends, and/or holidays. Additional work hours are assigned based on business requirements.
