As a Product Marketing Associate, you will contribute to the success of the Education vertical's day-to-day product marketing activities that drive awareness and adoption of Vector's Education products, solutions, and services among existing customers and prospects. The Product Marketing Associate will support go-to-market strategy, messaging/positioning, new product/feature launches, and marketing content to drive sales and support retention. This is a role that sits at the intersection of Sales, Product, and Customer Success and is critical to driving our future growth.What You'll Do:Support go-to-market strategy and execution for specific product lines within the Education business unit, under the guidance of the Senior Director of Product MarketingSupport the creation, execution, and management of launch plans for new product releases or course releases including relevant customer communications, marketing collateral and sales enablement materials under the guidance of the Senior Director of Product MarketingConduct competitive research to identify key competitive differentiators and value props, and develop supporting collateral (e.g. battlecards) to drive higher win ratesProduce content marketing assets in collaboration with industry subject matter experts to support demand generation. Content will align with the integrated marketing plan and resonate with key buyers and markets. Content includes but is not limited to blogs, infographics, webinars, guides, and moreCreate and update collateral and documentation used in the sales process (e.g. pitch decks, product brochures, etc.) Continuously refine and iterate based on customer and internal feedbackCreate and update collateral and resources utilized by Vector's Education partners to drive adoption and utilizationInterview customers and develop case studiesUnderstand industry trends, utilize them for marketing campaigns, and share market intel with marketing and sales teamsSupport the develop buying personas, including a deep understanding of buying behaviorsConduct customer research in collaboration with sub-sector Product Marketing Managers (e.g. win-loss interviews, existing customer check-ins) and synthesize findings to support changes in the go-to-market strategyCollaborate with Demand Generation team and product marketing team on campaign messaging, collateral, and executionSupport website and event marketing teams to ensure market-specific messaging and positioning is incorporated on our website and at tradeshowsOther duties as assignedRequirements:Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or related field1+ years of work experience in marketing or related field1+ years of experience in product marketing at a SaaS company preferredAbility to understand customer needs, pain points, and desires and translate that into winning marketing strategiesAbility to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneouslyAbility to create compelling presentations, and long form marketing content to be used in marketing campaignsAbility to manage multiple priorities concurrentlyAbility to create and deliver training and enablement sessions for salesConsistent track record of excellence and driving change to lead to sales growthEntrepreneurial spirit that enables someone to roll up their sleeves and drive resultsWhat You Can Expect From Us:Friendly, open, and casual work environmentComprehensive, quality benefits package effective first of the month following your date of hireTuition Reimbursement ProgramMatching 401(k) retirement planHealthy work-life balance with flexible work arrangements and generous time offGenerous referral incentive programCompany social eventsPhilanthropic opportunitiesWhat We Value:Teamwork - Above all, we're a team.
