We are seeking a CNC Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team in Bethel, CT. The ideal candidate will have experience operating Haas CNC Lathes, Haas CNC Mills, and/or Citizen Swiss machines in a precision manufacturing environment. This role involves operating CNC equipment, performing in-process inspections, reading blueprints, and ensuring parts meet quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate Haas CNC Lathes, Haas CNC Mills, and/or Citizen Swiss machines
- Monitor part dimensions and perform in-process quality inspections
- Read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings
- Use precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges
- Perform basic machine adjustments and maintain accurate production records
- Follow ISO/AS9100 quality standards and safety procedures
- Work closely with quality and production teams to ensure on-time delivery of high-quality parts
Qualifications:
- Experience operating CNC mills and CNC lathes required
- Experience with Citizen Swiss screw machines is a plus
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
- Proficient with precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges)
- Understanding of quality assurance and manufacturing processes
- Experience in an ISO 9001 or AS9100 manufacturing environment preferred
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced production environment
