Supervisor, Field Operations

Position Summary Breezeline’s Technical Supervisor supports the growth of the system by ensuring the quality performance of technical services, installation, testing, and maintenance of all current and future Breezeline products and services over an HFC network and other plant and distribution systems. The incumbent ensures services meet or exceed industry and company performance standards, complies with FCC requirements, and coordinates with corporate, market, or regional departments on business optimization. Responsibilities Assist manager with training of technicians and other field personnel. Resolve customer problems and concerns and ensure timely completion of all orders for technical staff. Perform preventive maintenance when necessary and monitor systems such as WFX, Stratusync, iGlass, and OneView for work schedule and status. Hire, train, evaluate, and evaluate assigned staff and maintain company truck and other equipment per service requirements. Drive company vehicle between office, warehouse, and work sites safely and in accordance with laws and policies. Communicate with dispatch and other supervisors for assistance and status updates. Complete daily, weekly, monthly or other required reports. Manage ambiguity, collaborate in autonomous environments, and adapt to uncertainty and change. Interact with customers professionally, including responses to escalations and repeated concerns. Educate customers on their existing and new services and promote Breezeline services. Participate in scheduled team meetings and job-related training such as initial, refresher, and product updates. Work regular and irregular days and beyond regular hours due to customer or operational demands. Comply with all safety procedures and policies. Qualifications Minimum 18 years of age. Demonstrated proficiency in core supervisory skill sets. Valid state driver’s license with a good driving record. Certifications and licenses required by state and municipal laws. Successfully meet and maintain additional background check requirements for specialized projects/services. One year of comparable field work experience such as a related hands‑on trade role. Basic mathematical skills and PC/Windows software skills. Stable work history and ability to work required shifts and overtime. Spanish proficiency desirable in some locations. High school diploma or GED preferred; post‑high school education a plus. Physical Job Requirements Carry and use tools and equipment; lift and carry a 28‑ft extension ladder and an 88‑lb power supply. Frequently bend, stoop, crawl, climb ladders and utility poles, and work in high places. Operate in small spaces such as crawl spaces and attics. Tolerate weather‑related heat and cold for extended periods. Occasionally stand, walk, push, pull, and use hands for fine motor tasks. Drive commercial motor vehicles; DOT physical required.
