Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Lead Residential HVAC Installer for work in the Steamboat Springs and surrounding mountain areas.

This position is ideal for someone who:

• Wants to relocate to the mountains
  OR
• Is willing to travel during the work week

You’ll lead residential installations on high-end custom homes and be responsible for complete system installations from rough-in to startup and commissioning.

Responsibilities

Lead installation of residential HVAC systems including:

• Furnaces
• Air conditioners
• Heat pumps
• High-efficiency systems
• Custom ductwork systems
• IAQ components
• Boilers and hydronic systems (preferred)

Additional responsibilities:

• Fabricate and install ductwork
• Read blueprints and mechanical plans
• Perform system startup and commissioning
• Troubleshoot and service systems as needed
• Ensure installs meet code and company standards
• Maintain clean and professional jobsites
• Communicate with builders, homeowners, and project managers
• Train and assist junior installers when needed

Qualifications

• 5+ years residential HVAC installation experience preferred
• Lead installer experience strongly preferred
• Experience with custom homes and high-end residential projects
• Strong ductwork and airflow knowledge
• Ability to perform startup and basic service/troubleshooting
• EPA Certification required
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
• Strong work ethic and attention to detail
• Pride in craftsmanship
