C# .NET Developer

Salary: $156,000 - 178,000 per year Requirements:

• Must be a U.S. citizen or Green Card holder.
• Bachelors degree required.
• 7–10 years of software development experience in financial services.
• Advanced proficiency in C#, ADO.NET, Entity Framework, and WCF.
• Strong working knowledge of scripting, automation, and data processing.
• Proficiency in JavaScript and ReactJS for internal user interfaces.
• Advanced T-SQL and MS SQL Server skills, including stored procedures, query optimization, and data modeling.
• Hands-on experience with SSIS, SSRS, ETL processes, and JSON and XML data formats.
• Experience with REST APIs, socket programming, and Node.js.
• Proficiency with Visual Studio, VSCode, and Excel.
• Active use of AI coding tools such as Copilot and Claude in a development workflow.
• Experience with Git and Azure DevOps for source control and CI/CD.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, PaaS, and cloud-based deployment strategies.
• Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and resolve complex issues under time pressure.
• Effective communication skills for engaging technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Collaborative approach and experience working in small, cross-functional teams.
• Preferred: familiarity with financial markets, instruments, and FIX Protocol.
• Preferred: Azure deployment experience, including App Service, Azure Functions, or serverless architectures.
• Preferred: VB.NET, PowerShell, DevExpress UI controls, Active-Batch job scheduling, PGP encryption, or SFTP workflows.
• Preferred: experience with Python packaging and dependency management using modern tools such as UV.
• Familiarity with legacy version control systems such as SVN or TFS is a plus.

• Design, build, and maintain applications for fund operations, including portfolio management, order management, risk, and back-office workflows.
• Partner with business stakeholders to turn requirements into well-tested, production-ready features.
• Lead and contribute to modernization initiatives, moving on-premises workloads toward Azure PaaS and improving performance, scalability, and maintainability.
• Troubleshoot and resolve application errors and job execution failures to minimize disruption to business operations.
• Integrate third-party data providers, APIs, and financial platforms using REST, FIX, and file-based interfaces.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipeline development and cloud deployment practices.

In this lean team, you will take ownership of front- and back-office workflows, working across new development and a mature, production-critical environment as we move toward cloud-based infrastructure. The salary range is $175,000–$190,000. We are not considering third-party or C2C arrangements.
