Qualicare KC Home Care is seeking an Afternoon Shift Care Assistant – Private In-Home Care (Odessa, MO. Area) Apply Once and be considered for all of QCKC's positions! We are seeking a reliable and compassionate Care Assistant to support a wonderful adult client in her home in Odessa, MO.
Position Requirements: Ability to bend, kneel, squat, and assist with transfers safely Strong bedside manner and respectful communication Dependable and punctual — reliability is crucial, as this is part of a 24/7 care schedule Compassionate, patient, and attentive If you enjoy meaningful one-on-one care and take pride in being someone others can truly count on, we would love to hear from you.

A successful Qualicare KC Care Assistant will be an experienced person in life as a caregiver either professionally or personally to family and who is capable of working independently, while maintaining a calm and focused demeanor, with hopefully some room for laughs. We are a Private In-HOME Care. We are not a facility.
Responsibilities:
- Be caring and compassionate toward clients and their caretakers.
- Show up on TIME!
- Assistance with personal care and hygiene, including incontinence briefs etc.
- Meal Preparation
- Light Housekeeping
- Accompany clients on outings
- Shopping and errands
- Medication Assist/Reminders
- Ambulation and transporting of clients
- Provide companionship to clients
- Ability to follow care-plan
- Documentation/Charting Requirements:
- Experience in life with Caregiving or professionally
- Must be 18 years or older
- Must hold a valid Driver's License
- Demonstrate good judgment when dealing with patients, visitors, families, and co-workers
