Business Intelligence Analyst Job Location: Rockford IL Headquarters – Rockford, IL 61107 Position Type: Full Time Salary Range: $85,000.00 - $105,000.00 Job Shift: Day Position Summary This role is for a high‑performing Business Intelligence professional who already knows wealth management and data—and wants to operate where the two truly meet. The Business Intelligence Analyst plays a critical role in transforming complex wealth management data into trusted, actionable insights used by leaders and teams across the firm. It is not a “dashboard‑only” BI role; the analyst works closely with business functions to influence upstream data structures and shape decision‑making across Advisory, Finance, Marketing, Sales, and beyond. Key Responsibilities Design, develop and support Power BI dashboards, reports and datasets used by Executive Leadership and cross‑functional teams. Analyze wealth management and financial services data to surface insights that support strategic, financial, and operational decisions. Partner closely with internal stakeholders, technology teams, and offshore analytics partners to deliver accurate, scalable analytics solutions. Manage analytics work as projects—gathering requirements, defining scope, coordinating timelines, and ensuring outcomes meet business needs. Conduct ad‑hoc analysis and clearly communicate findings to both technical and non‑technical audiences. Validate data accuracy by auditing warehouse output against source systems. Identify opportunities to improve efficiency through automation, AI‑assisted analytics, and modern BI tooling. Support data governance, documentation, and reporting standards as the BI function continues to mature. Qualifications 2+ years of professional experience in Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, or Analytics Engineering and 2+ years in wealth management, investment management, financial services, banking, or a related financial industry. Strong hands‑on experience with Power BI (dashboards, reports, semantic models). Experience working with enterprise data warehouses and structured analytics datasets. Proficiency in SQL and data validation across source systems and reporting layers. Demonstrated ability to support multiple stakeholders and departments simultaneously. Experience managing analytics work in a project‑based environment. Strong communication skills with the ability to clearly explain data insights. Preferred Qualifications Experience with Microsoft Fabric (Data Factory, Lakehouse, Warehousing). Experience working with offshore or remote analytics teams. Familiarity with regulated or audit‑sensitive environments. Exposure to automation, AI‑enabled analytics, or advanced BI workflows. Experience supporting executive‑level reporting and KPI dashboards.
