Director of Housekeeping

Rehab and Healthcare Center is a one-floor charming long-term/skilled community. We are seeking a new Housekeeping Director to join their team. The Housekeeping Director is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the Housekeeping and Laundry. The Housekeeping Director oversees all aspects of the environmental services operation to assure that the facility is maintained in a clean, safe, and comfortable manner for its residents. This role includes ensuring the Life Safety of all residents, visitors, and employees within the facility. Responsibilities Coordinate housekeeping services with other related departments. Ensure a stock level of housekeeping supplies is maintained for a clean, safe, and comfortable environment. Provide reports/recommendations to the Administrator regarding the operation of the housekeeping department. Participate in facility surveys (inspections) conducted by authorized government agencies as necessary or directed. Perform regular inspections of resident rooms/units for sanitation, order, safety, and proper performance of assigned duties. Position Requirements Knowledgeable of housekeeping practices and procedures. Minimum of 1 year experience in a healthcare setting. Leadership ability and willingness to work harmoniously with and supervise other personnel.
