PDS Tech Commercial is partnering with a leader in the aviation industry to hire a detail-oriented Quality Control Inspector I in Vandalia, OH.

Make Quality Your Mission

As a Quality Control Inspector I , you'll help maintain the integrity of aerospace manufacturing processes by inspecting incoming materials, monitoring in-process production, and verifying finished products before shipment. Your work will directly contribute to product reliability, customer satisfaction, and operational excellence.

What You'll Do

In this role, you will:

• Perform inspections of incoming materials, components, and finished goods
• Verify product quality throughout various stages of the manufacturing process
• Review and interpret technical inventory lists, drawings, and documentation
• Confirm quantities and ensure products meet specifications and quality requirements
• Document inspection findings and maintain accurate quality records
• Identify non-conforming materials and communicate issues appropriately
• Assist in recommending process improvements to enhance quality and efficiency
• Support receiving, in-process, and final inspection activities within the warehouse environment
• Collaborate with production and operations teams to ensure compliance with quality standards
• Help maintain a safe, organized, and quality-focused workplace

Required Qualifications

We're looking for candidates with:

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent
• Experience with finished goods inspection
• Knowledge of and ability to interpret technical inventory lists and drawings
• Experience using Costpoint and/or AEGIS-MES
• Understanding of material flow within manufacturing or operational environments
• Strong attention to detail and documentation skills
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English

Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered.

Preferred Qualifications

Successful candidates may also possess:

• Experience in aerospace, aviation, manufacturing, or warehouse quality environments
• Familiarity with inventory control and quality management processes
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Experience identifying root causes and supporting continuous improvement initiatives
• Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team environment

Pay Details: $25.89 per hour
