Technical Specialist And Fire Protection Engineer Duties
As a Technical Specialist and Fire Protection Engineer, you will:
- Develop fire protection design criteria for the Omaha District to supplement Army-wide criteria.
- Direct the design effort of multiple disciplines including Architectural, Mechanical, Electrical and Civil Engineers for various facets of Fire Protection Design.
- Define the scope of fire protection requirements based on engineering knowledge, judgment, and functional requirements.
- Direct life-cycle cost analysis with the objective of evaluation and ranking design alternative with regard to overall economy.
- Represent Omaha District for the purpose of coordinating and furnishing engineering advise on unique and complex fire protection design problems.
