Branch Sales Associate
We are seeking a customer-focused Branch Sales Associate to deliver exceptional service through multiple customer interaction channels while supporting sales growth and branch operations. In this role, you will help customers find the right products and solutions, build strong customer relationships, and identify opportunities for additional sales. The ideal candidate is service-oriented, enjoys solving customer problems, and thrives in a fast-paced branch environment where customer service, sales support, and operational excellence are equally important.
Responsibilities
- Provide outstanding customer service through phone, email, and in-person interactions
- Assist customers in identifying products and solutions that meet their needs
- Process customer orders, inquiries, returns, and transactions accurately
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships through exceptional service
- Identify lead opportunities and additional sales opportunities during customer interactions
- Navigate customers to products, services, and resources that help them complete their work efficiently
- Support branch sales goals and customer retention efforts
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve customer issues quickly and effectively
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and transactions
- Contribute to overall branch performance through teamwork and operational support
Required Qualifications
- Strong customer service and relationship-building skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
- Ability to identify customer needs and recommend effective solutions
- Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
- Comfortable working with customers through multiple service channels
- Basic computer proficiency and ability to learn internal systems
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous customer service, retail, branch operations, inside sales, or counter sales experience
- Experience in industrial distribution, maintenance, supply, warehouse, or related environments
- Experience identifying sales opportunities and generating leads
- Product knowledge or the ability to quickly learn technical and industrial products
- Experience supporting both customer service and operational functions
