PET Technologist

Location: Charleston, SC

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: The position will operate on a 5x8 hour schedule with varying start times from 6:30 AM to 10:00 AM and ending times from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM. Weekend coverage may be required for PETCT scans on Saturdays as needed.

Job Description: As a PET Technologist, you will be responsible for performing PETCT scans and ensuring the highest standard of care for patients. You will work in a collaborative environment supporting various imaging procedures while adhering to established protocols and safety standards.

Responsibilities:

• Perform PETCT scans while ensuring patient comfort and safety.
• Operate Siemens PETCT equipment.
• Maintain accurate documentation and patient records using the Epic charting system.
• Work collaboratively within the Radiology team to provide high-quality imaging services.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a PET Technologist.
• BLS Certification.
• NMTCB(N) or ARRT(N) certification.
• NMTCB(CT) or ARRT(R) or ARRT(CT) certification.
• SCRQSA State License in Nuclear Medicine and Radiology or Computed Tomography.
• Agency must supply radiation badge, as it will not be provided by the facility.
