This role is ideal for an engineer who enjoys working at the intersection of performance, mechanical integrity, and real-world hardware. You will contribute across the full product lifecycle from early design and detailed analysis to testing, qualification, and production support playing a key role in advancing our rotating machinery product line. Success in this position requires a strong foundation in mechanical design principles, including structural analysis, material behavior, and an appreciation for how components perform under demanding operating conditions. As part of a collaborative engineering team, you will apply sound engineering judgment, work closely with cross-functional partners, and help translate analytical results into robust, manufacturable designs that perform reliably in service. What You Will Do Execute, coordinate, and oversee all aspects of mechanical design for turbomachinery programs Support root cause investigations and develop innovative approaches to solving complex engineering challenges Document design activity and complex analyses for a wide range of audiences including technical experts, management, and executive leadership Participate in multidisciplinary team engaged in the design and development of new technologies and system architectures to achieve optimal performance Support prototype and production development testing activities Maintain, improve, and develop techniques, methods, and standards for mechanical design of turbomachinery Identify opportunities to improve engineering processes, tools, technologies, and quality control standards Qualifications You Must Have Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field Prior engineering experience within aerospace, automotive, power generation or manufacturing environments. The salary range for this role is 68,900 USD - 131,100 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
