Senior Accountant

We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to lead our month-end close process, own the Accounts Payable function end-to-end, and manage payroll auditing. This role is critical to ensuring accurate, timely financial reporting and strong internal controls across a fast-paced, multi-brand publicly traded company. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage the month-end close process, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of financial results Own the entire Accounts Payable function, including invoice processing, vendor management, payment runs, reconciliations, and 1099 filing Perform payroll auditing to ensure accuracy, compliance, and proper GL coding across pay cycles Prepare journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations related to AP and payroll Partner cross-functionally with FP&A, HR, and operations teams to resolve discrepancies and streamline processes Reconcile intercompany billing to other brands Administer the corporate credit card program (Divvy) Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and strengthen internal controls Support internal audits, external audits, and SOX-related requests for AP and payroll Maintain documentation of AP and payroll procedures and ensure adherence to company policies Other ad hoc financial analysis as requested by the Accounting Senior Manager and a.k.a. Brands leadership Qualifications 5+ years of relevant accounting experience, with a focus on Accounts Payable and/or month-end close Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field Strong understanding of GAAP and internal controls Experience with NetSuite, Stampli, and Rippling strongly preferred Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment Nice to Have Experience in retail, e-commerce, or a multi-entity/multi-brand environment Prior experience owning a function end-to-end in a growing company #J-18808-Ljbffr
