Sr Cost Accounting Manager

Cost Accounting Manager

We are currently seeking a highly experienced Cost Accounting Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 6-10 years of relevant experience in cost accounting and financial analysis.

As a Cost Accounting Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the cost accounting functions, including budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and cost reporting. You will also work closely with cross-functional teams to identify cost-saving opportunities and improve overall efficiency. The successful candidate will have a strong background in cost accounting principles, excellent analytical skills, and a proven track record of driving process improvements.

Key responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee the cost accounting functions, including budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and cost reporting
  • Develop and implement cost accounting policies and procedures to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify cost-saving opportunities and drive process improvements
  • Provide financial analysis and support to senior management to facilitate decision-making
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • 6-10 years of experience in cost accounting and financial analysis
  • CPA or CMA certification is preferred
  • Strong knowledge of cost accounting principles and techniques
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in ERP systems and advanced MS Excel skills
  • Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with cross-functional teams
  • Proven track record of driving process improvements and cost-saving initiatives
