Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $18.04 / Hour Overview Security Officer Patrol Specialist responsible for patrolling and protecting the premises, assisting staff, patients, and visitors, and supporting access control within a healthcare setting. Responsibilities Provide customer service to staff, visitors, patients, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-related protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns to site leadership. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and the perimeter to help identify unusual activity, unsecured areas, and/or conditions that may require follow-up. Monitor entrances, exits, and other designated areas to help support authorized access, visitor processing, and compliance with location policies and procedures. Assist with security-related calls for service within the healthcare location, offering courteous support while helping to maintain order and professionalism in a fast-paced environment. Minimum Requirements Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
