Job Category Full-Time Professional/Support Staff Employee Type Professional Staff PS Required Degree 2 Year Degree Position Summary: The Content Producers responsible for developing and producing high-quality multimedia content that advances Vincennes University's strategic marketing, enrollment, communications, and brand awareness initiatives. This position identifies compelling stories across the University and transforms them into engaging digital content through photography, videography, writing, graphic design, digital signs and other multimedia formats. Reporting to the Senior Director of External Relations, this position collaborates with faculty, staff, students, and administrators to produce content that supports student recruitment, alumni engagement, donor relations, public relations, institutional advancement, and university marketing efforts. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Capture and edit professional-quality photography and videography for use in digital and print communications. Produce multimedia content for university websites, social media platforms, digital advertising campaigns, presentations, email marketing, digital signage, and other marketing initiatives. Design visual assets including graphics, infographics, digital signs, and marketing materials using industry-standard creative software. Collaborate with the External Relations team to plan, prioritize, and execute content supporting institutional priorities and strategic enrollment management. Coordinate with academic colleges, administrative departments, and university leadership to identify communication opportunities and gather project requirements. Attend campus events, ceremonies, athletic competitions, and special events to document and create timely multimedia content. Assist in maintaining the University's visual identity by ensuring content adheres to institutional brand standards. Organize and maintain digital photo, video, and multimedia asset libraries. Remain current on trends in higher education marketing, digital communications, artificial intelligence, photography, videography, social media, and multimedia production. Perform other duties as assigned in support of the External Relations department. Minimum Qualifications: Associates degree in Communications, Journalism, Multimedia, Marketing, Public Relations, Graphic Design, Digital Media, Broadcasting, Photography, Videography, or a closely related field. Demonstrated proficiency in photography and/or videography. Experience creating written and visual content for digital platforms. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and meet deadlines. Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in higher education, nonprofit, journalism, agency, or corporate communications. Proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud applications including Photoshop, Premiere Pro, Lightroom, Illustrator, and InDesign. Experience operating DSLR or mirrorless cameras, professional audio equipment, lighting, and video production tools. Familiarity with content management systems, social media management platforms, email marketing systems, and digital asset management. Knowledge of accessibility standards and digital content best practices. Experience utilizing artificial intelligence tools to improve creative workflows. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: The successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to: Design, photography and video skills. Write clearly and effectively for diverse audiences. Produce professional-quality multimedia content from concept through final delivery. Exercise creativity while maintaining brand consistency. Build collaborative relationships across academic and administrative departments. Manage competing priorities with attention to detail and accuracy. Adapt to evolving technologies, communication platforms, and creative tools. Supervision and Working Relationships This position reports to the Senior Director of External Relations and works closely with the University's marketing, communications, web, social media, news, admissions, alumni, advancement, business and industry, and academic units. The position frequently interacts with faculty, staff, students, alumni, and community partners. Professional photography and videography assignments. Edited videos for recruitment, branding, academic programs, and institutional initiatives. Graphic Design for use on website and social media content and other platforms. Marketing graphics and digital assets. Multimedia support for university events and strategic campaigns. Organized communications, digital media archives, and project files. Physical Requirements Ability to travel between university locations and event sites. Ability to lift and transport photography and video equipment. Ability to work occasional evenings and weekends in support of university events.
